James Dunnan, MD

Dr. Dunnan was born into a share-cropping family outside Youngstown, Ohio. Despite his modest upbringing, he somehow made it through medical school at Ohio State. He supported himself by working as a ballet dancer, singer and contortionist…showing off his wide array of talents. Dr. Dunnan resides in Dublin with his four wonderful children. A few years ago, Dr. Dunnan took a solace in Asia. While hiking in Nepal, Dr. Dunnan became interested in treating leg wounds on mountain climbers. He found that he had a gift; healing complex wounds. He returned to the United States a new man. While practicing Family Medicine in Dublin, Ohio, he was introduced to Erica Masloski. Erica was impressed with many of Dr. Dunnan’s talents apart from the contortionism. As the Administrator of Columbus Podiatry & Surgery and The Total Healing Wound Centers, she recruited Dr. Dunnan into the Wound Care Team as co-Medical Director. Since joining the practice, he has lived a life of complete bliss and contentment. He looks forward to teaching Dr. Bhatia the art of ballet dancing.
